MONTROSE golfer Eileen Fullarton had a hole-in-one on the Arbroath Links Course last Sunday.

Montrose Caledonia member Eileen was playing in the Ladies Greensomes Invitational when she holed her tee-shot at the 135 yard seventh hole.

Eileen was partnered by her sister-in-law Margaret Smith and was playing with sisters Jan and Lesley Ritchie from the Arbroath Artizans club.

The seventh is a hidden hole and the golfers were playing into a strong wind, so Elieen used a rescue club which was given to her by her pal Bob Smith.

Eileen thought she had hit a good shot, although she felt it was slightly left of the flag.

When she got up to the green she began searching in bunkers etc, then to her delight, found the ball in the hole!

Eileen Fullarton is pictured, with the club she used for her "ace".
